A month of connection and inspiration

What an incredible month it’s been! I’m thrilled to share the highlights of my recent speaking engagements, where I had the privilege of connecting with a diverse group of people on topics close to my heart—yoni steaming, my own story of following my dream to become a midwife. The two events were, Virgin Sacrifice with Mandy Nolan in Mullumbimby and Epic Stories in the Garden with Miroslav which was held at Sol Gardens in Currumbin.

My experience performing on stage for the comedy gig was the more intimidating of the two gigs because I was under the harsh lights and couldn’t see my audience. In contrast, during the Mastery Epic Stories event in the garden, I was at the same level as the audience, and I could see their smiling, encouraging faces. I didn’t envision myself doing a routine about yoni steaming when I signed up for the comedy course. However, I was surprised by the amount of content I came up with and how it could be presented in a way that was both educational and humorous. At least, I hope it was funny—I got a few laughs.

There’s more where that came from and I am curious to see what opportunities emerge on holistic stages. Meanwhile, it is onto the next project!
