A Season of Growth: The Birth Wellness Festival and Beyond

Spring has well and truly arrived, bringing with it warmth, renewal, and the blossoming of the Birth Wellness Festival. After months of preparation and community effort, this year’s festival came to life as a vibrant celebration of birth, wellness, and connection. What began in 2022 as a small gathering of local midwives and birth workers has now grown into a two-day event filled with workshops, talks, movement, and heartfelt conversations.

This year marked an important turning point — a move toward greater sustainability and professionalism, while keeping the festival’s grassroots spirit alive. With the support of generous volunteers, speakers, and community members, the festival continues to thrive as a space where education, creativity, and shared wisdom come together. It remains a beautiful reminder that birth is not just a medical experience, but a profound community event.

In the wake of the Festival, we’re taking time to reflect on what worked, what we’ve learned, and how we can continue to grow in alignment and collaboration. Beyond the logistics, the real measure of success lies in the deeper connections formed — the inspiration, healing, and empowerment that ripple outward long after the weekend ends.

The Book Rebirth of Womb Medicine: The Art of Yoni Steaming

Looking ahead, spring also brings another milestone — the Book Rebirth of Womb Medicine: The Art of Yoni Steaming. Join Sali McIntyre on Saturday, November 8, for a hands-on, heart-centred gathering to celebrate this new edition. Together, we’ll share stories, sip cacao, and experience a guided yoni meditation together.
